Filmmaking

Zenematic approaches filmmaking with a full-picture mindset. Our work spans narrative shorts, branded content, and independent film, shaped by an understanding of story, rhythm, light, and edit. Every project begins with tone and intention, creating films that feel focused, cohesive, and alive.

Branded Narrative – Fierce n Vegan

Fierce N Vegan was developed and produced by Zenematic from start to finish. The project began in pre-production with brand identity development, creative planning, and detailed shot lists to ensure an efficient shoot. Production was executed with a two-person crew, handling producing, cinematography, multicam coverage, and gaffing while coordinating the full program on schedule.

Post-production included editing, color grading, and delivery of all visual assets, along with the creation of program workbooks, website design, trademark development, and branded products for the online store. The entire project was produced in an organized, streamlined workflow, with all content captured and delivered within the planned schedule.

Narrative Work

Narrative shorts, genre work, and independent film built with intention and efficiency.

Zenematic’s narrative projects are built with the same discipline as larger productions, regardless of scale. Our short films move through structured pre-production, efficient on-set execution, and focused post-production, allowing story and performance to remain central. Experience across cinematography, lighting, directing, and editing informs every decision, from how a scene is lit to how it ultimately cuts together.

We’ve contributed to genre-driven projects including horror films, serving as Director of Photography on a Christmas horror feature and as gaffer on a pirate horror film. These projects required precise lighting design, strong visual continuity, and adaptability under production constraints—skills that carry into all narrative work. The result is film that feels intentional, visually cohesive, and grounded in story rather than spectacle.
